“If you want to build a ship, don’t drum up the people to gather wood, divide the work, and give orders. Instead, teach them to yearn for the vast and endless sea.”

Our story so far

Part remote health monitoring and coaching program, part AI-powered clinician platform, myNurse helps people with chronic conditions tackle their health issues and build healthy habits that last.

We support care management teams from independent clinics to enterprise health systems and payors, helping clinicians solve the chronic care puzzle with our augmented intelligence platform, which analyzes live patient interactions, historical outcomes and the habits of expert clinicians to surface the most effective interventions in real time.

We also support independent physicians as they deploy remote patient monitoring and chronic care management services at their clinic, with optional staffing to help monitor patient vitals, support patients remotely with personalized coaching and streamline reimbursement and admin paperwork.

myNurse has been named a 2020 UCSF Rosenman Innovator, won the Berkeley Skydeck Pitch Competition, participated in the 500 Startups Accelerator Program in San Francisco, received a Sutter Health Innovation Grant, and won the 2020 Startup Pitch competition sponsored by Healthcare Information & Management Systems Society (HIMSS) NorCal. We’ve also taken part in the prestigious DreamIt growth program and collaborated with Health 2047, the innovation arm of the American Medical Association.

And we’re just getting started…

I love that myNurse is tackling these problems at the point they should be managed and keeping patients out of the hospital.

What gets us up in the morning

We operate on a “double bottom line” where success means more than growth, profitability and revenue. Just as important is the difference we make in the lives of our patient members and clinical partners.

These are the key values that keep us on track:

A Prime Directive
We treat our patient members as if they were our own parents or loved ones. How quickly would you respond if someone you loved had a serious health concern?
Continuous improvement
Change is in our DNA. We’re always seeking new insights and feedback from customers and employees to make every second count and ensure we’re improving and doing our best work.
Every voice matters
Forget “just because.” We’re looking for good ideas, no matter who they come from. Employees at every level are encouraged to speak up, share their perspective and challenge the status quo.
Clear targets
Without a target, you’ll miss every time. We set clear priorities, focus our efforts and give everyone on our team the tools they need to get us all one step closer.
Diversity makes us stronger
We’re committed to fostering and preserving a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion, knowing that every new perspective and set of life experiences bring us closer to success.
Bulldoze bureaucracy
Every team needs a leader, but the last thing good leaders need is a team of toadies. Employees are encouraged to serve the myNurse mission, not their boss.

My favorite part about working at myNurse is the autonomy. I always feel like my ideas are heard and I'm encouraged to think outside of the box.
